Blessed is the servant who provides safety

On this Sunday we reflect on safety in the church. Jesus speaks about the servant who is caring and trustworthy, a picture that helps us discover how we, together, can be a community where boundaries are respected and where abuse of power has no place. 

We will consider how to recognise boundary-crossing behaviour, both in ourselves and in others, and how important it is to bring such things into the open. Our confidential counsellor, Marèns, will be present, and we will also share the steps ICF is taking to be a safe church for everyone.

Announcements Sunday September 21

🤩 Young Adults – We’re back!! After a lovely summer, the Young Adults season is starting again. This year will look a little different than previous years, with structured gatherings on Fridays (bi-weekly) focused on discipleship (Bible studies, prayer, worship). Friday, 19 September is our first gathering. Are you between 18 and 30+ years old? Come and join us! On 19 September, we will be explaining a bit more on what this year will look like and will be brainstorming Bible study topics together with you! Volunteer Wanted for Our Language Café - We are looking for an enthusiastic volunteer to help at our Language Café on 23 and 30 October, and 20 November. You should speak Dutch and English, and you’ll receive a booklet with exercises focused on speaking. No experience is necessary, enthusiasm is what counts! It’s also helpful if you can attend the introductory session on 2 October. If you would like to help, please get in touch with Charlotte charlotteramp@gmail.com.

Baptism and Public Profession of Faith

Do you have the desire to be baptised or to make a public profession of your faith? Then join our preparation course of seven sessions, beginning in the second half of January 2026. Becoming a member of ICF Rotterdam-Noord

Everyone is welcome at the meetings and activities of ICF Rotterdam-Noord. To be hospitable to everyone, it is necessary that there are people who are more committed to the community. We encourage those people to join the ICF as members. You can become a member by filling in this form. 

The Lords Prayer

Every Sunday, we conclude our intercessory prayer by collectively reciting the 'Our Father,' each in our native language. We wholeheartedly encourage you to join in! If you're not yet familiar with the text, you can easily find it on this website.
