Festive Sunday Service September 28

In Your presence there is fullness of joy.

Today is an exceptionally festive service! We are celebrating that, after six years as a pioneering community, ICF-Noord has now become a PKN Missionary Neighbourhood Congregation, moving from a mission project to a lasting form of being church together.

On this special occasion, for the very first time in our young history, we will ordain elders: Aaron Boyle, Alie Ruiter, Anton de Zeeuw, and Joseph Twizeyimana. In addition, one of them, Alie Ruiter, is being commissioned by the General Church Council of PKN Rotterdam Centre to serve in her ministry as Chaplain.

The theme of today’s service could not be more fitting. We conclude our four-part series on the Sabbath with the theme of Delight. Fred Kappinga will be speaking on Psalm 16:11: In Your presence there is fullness of joy! Come and celebrate with us!
