Neighbours’ Day at Rehoboth

On Saturday 27 September 2025, from 13:00–16:00, we as churches are once again doing something special for our neighbourhood. We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers and supporters to help make the day a real success!

What’s happening?

We will begin by sharing lunch together as a church family, from 12:00–13:00, a great way to get to know one another better. From 13:00–16:00 our neighbours are warmly invited to join us.

• A welcoming meeting place at the Rehoboth Church, with coffee, tea, and home-made treats.
• Planting flower bulbs along the Noordsingel, opposite the church.
• Traditional Dutch games for children and adults alike.
• Candyfloss and a bouncy castle for the local children.
• An information point about the Rehoboth Project.
• A sign-up desk where neighbours can share how they would like to contribute to a friendlier, more beautiful neighbourhood.
• Above all: listening, connecting, and building community together.

Where?

All activities take place at Rehoboth Church (Noordsingel 90), right on the border of the lively Agniesebuurt and Oude Noorden districts.

How can you help?

• Bake something sweet in advance to serve on the day.
• Lunch will be provided, but please also bring something tasty along to share.
• Lend a hand on 27 September as a volunteer: spin candyfloss, pour coffee, chat with neighbours, help plant bulbs, or play with the children.
