Alpha – Explore Christianity

What is Alpha?

Many of us have noticed that there's something not quite right about the life we lead and the world we live in.

It feels like something could be better, or even that there is something missing altogether.

This human problem is something we all experience in one way or another as we walk the complicated, difficult, and beautiful path of life together.

Is there an answer to this problem? Or, at the very least, a good way to approach it? And is there anything more to this life?

These are the kinds of questions and topics addressed in ICF-Noord's Alpha Course. An intersection of three of our church's favorite things: community, discipleship, and mission.

Originating from Holy Trinity Brompton in London, the Alpha Course aims to provide seekers of meaning with answers to life's biggest questions and how these intersect with the way of Jesus.

Divided over 10 weekly sessions (including an overnight weekend trip) we will share meals, engage in talks on these topics, and discuss them further in small groups.

Much more than a set of lectures, ICF's Alpha Course aims to build community. We believe that Christ is present not only in talks but also in sitting around a table and building friendships with one another.

Through these meetings, participants are given a place to voice their questions free of judgment as we explore life's deeper meaning together.
