Would you like to make a difference during our Sunday services by offering a warm welcome and making God’s love visible? If so, the role of host might be perfect for you!
What does the role involve?
As a host, you are the face of our Sunday gatherings. You help create an atmosphere where visitors feel welcome and at ease. You are sensitive to the work of the Holy Spirit and lead the service in line with His guidance.
Your Responsibilities:
- Before the service: Delivering a warm welcome and sharing the announcements.
During the service: Leading prayers in collaboration with the pastor and the worship team. Managing unexpected situations and keeping the service on track for a smooth flow.
After the service: Being available for questions and feedback from guests.
What are we looking for?
- Membership of ICF and active involvement in our church community.
- A heart that loves Jesus and a desire to serve others through the Holy Spirit.
- A warm and welcoming presence.
- The ability to speak clearly and comfortably in front of a group.
- A commitment to attend the host training (May 15, 19:30) and, if possible, also join the prayer ministry training (five evenings starting in May 2025).
What do we offer?
- The opportunity to use your gifts and grow in leadership.
- Being part of an engaged and diverse team.
- Support to help you carry out your role with confidence.
