Why Prayer?

This Sunday, we’ll begin a new series on Prayer.

Brother Thabiso will speak about the importance of prayer in the life of a Christian today. He will also share the testimony of a Bible school student from many years ago who came to know Christ because the church faithfully prayed.

But why do we pray? Why should we pray to a God who already knows everything?

Here are a few reasons:

1. Prayer strengthens our relationship with God.
2. We pray for help and guidance — just as Hannah prayed for a child.
3. Prayer is not for God’s benefit, but for ours. It changes and shapes us.
4. Prayer helps us place our trust in God.
5. We pray as an act of obedience to God.

We warmly invite you to join us this Sunday! We will also celebrate the Lord’s Supper together.

Announcements Sunday 13th of September

ICF Noord's Alpha course runs from 23 September! Our yearly Alpha course begins soon! This is a great opportunity to learn about the foundations of our faith and to share the Gospel with those outside the church. Church Family Day on October 3 at 10:00 AM at Wijkrestaurant - The church leadership warmly calls and encourages all our members to attend. Just as we make time to travel and gather with our nuclear and extended families, we also need to make time for our Church Family Day. This allows us to step away from our usual routines, spend extended time together as one family, and strengthen our relationships with one another and with God. Don’t be left behind! Mark this day in your calendar. We look forward to seeing you there!

Becoming a member of ICF Rotterdam-Noord

Everyone is warmly welcome at the meetings and activities of ICF Rotterdam-Noord. In order to remain a hospitable and healthy community, it is important that some people commit themselves more intentionally to the life and calling of the church. The Lords Prayer

Every Sunday, we conclude our intercessory prayer by collectively reciting the 'Our Father,' each in our native language. We wholeheartedly encourage you to join in! If you're not yet familiar with the text, you can easily find it on this website.
