Sunday for the Persecuted Church
On Sunday 31 May, ICF Rotterdam North will take part in the Sunday for the Persecuted Church, an initiative of Open Doors. On this day, churches across the Netherlands and beyond stand together with millions of Christians worldwide who are unable to live out their faith in freedom. During our regular service at 1:00 pm, we will welcome Anton Qin, who will speak from God’s Word and share from the lived experience of believers in China. This will also be our ‘Chinese Sunday’. The service will be bilingual (Chinese and English), and we will sing a selection of beautiful multilingual songs together. A wonderful opportunity to invite your Chinese neighbours and friends!
Night of Prayer – Join Us
In the night of Friday 5 to Saturday 6 June, we will join the annual Night of Prayer, also organised by Open Doors. Across hundreds of locations in the Netherlands and Flanders, Christians gather to pray for persecuted believers, often in countries where following Christ must remain hidden, such as Afghanistan, Mexico, and Iran. Through the night, we stand together in prayer for strength, protection, and perseverance. Registration is not required, but it is helpful and can be done via the email address samennoordsingel@gmail.com
