Christmas Bag Campaign 2025 – Join In!

Will you help us personally invite our neighbours to celebrate Christmas? Join our Christmas Bag Project, organised together with the Rehoboth churches. You can (1) adopt bags, (2) help distribute them on 21 December, or (3) sponsor the project.

(1) How to adopt Christmas bags

• From 7 December, paper bags will be available in church. Feel free to take as many as you are able to fill.
• Please fill each bag with three small gifts: something fun, something tasty, and something useful (e.g., a tealight holder with candle, chocolates, soap). Suggested value: €5–€10 per bag.
• Return the filled bag(s) on 14 December, or at the latest on 21 December.

(2) How to help with distribution

• Add your name to the sign-up sheet in church.
• Come to Rehoboth on 21 December at 11:30 a.m. Together with Alfa & Omega, Bron van Leven and Rehoboth, we will hand out the bags -each with an invitation-in the neighbourhood.

(3) How to sponsor the project?

Would you like to take part but have little time? Then please make a donation before 17 December to NL77 INGB 0000 0805 02 (CGK Rotterdam Centrum), stating “tasjesactie kerst”. We will take care of the contents.

Join us!

Through this project we become visibly present in our neighbourhood, create natural moments of contact, and personally invite people to celebrate Christmas with us, so that no one has to be alone. How wonderful would it be if those we meet come to discover the Light of Christmas?
