The Church - An Alternative Society 

This Sunday, we will reflect on what it means to be a church as an alternative society. Together, we will discover that being a church is not about forms, structures, or traditions, but about our hearts.

We will reflect on reconciliation and unity, and on a church that is about more than satisfying our own needs. In this way, Jesus becomes visible in how we live with one another.

Announcements Sunday February 1

This weekend is a wonderful opportunity to get to know our Dutch–Arabic community, Bron van Leven. On Saturday, the women will gather for lunch, fellowship, prayer and Bible study around the theme the journey of inner healing with Christ (doors open from 12:30 pm, lunch at 1:00 pm). The following day, during the Sunday service, we will celebrate the second anniversary of Bron van Leven. It would be great if many from ICF could join in this celebration together with our Arab brothers and sisters. You are very welcome! (service starts at 9:30 am). Both gatherings will take place at the Rehoboth Church, Noordsingel 92.

Monday February 2, monthly Day of Prayer (and fasting) and Holy Communion. We invite you to join our monthly ICF Day of Prayer. You may also choose to fast, for all or part of the day, as a way of opening yourself to the Holy Spirit. We will close the day together with a short gathering from 6:30 to 7:30 pm, where we will pray and celebrate the Lord’s Supper @ church

Becoming a member of ICF Rotterdam-Noord

Everyone is welcome at the meetings and activities of ICF Rotterdam-Noord. To be hospitable to everyone, it is necessary that there are people who are more committed to the community. We encourage those people to join the ICF as members. You can become a member by filling in this form. 

The Lords Prayer

Every Sunday, we conclude our intercessory prayer by collectively reciting the 'Our Father,' each in our native language. We wholeheartedly encourage you to join in! If you're not yet familiar with the text, you can easily find it on this website.
