Sunday Service December 7: Advent: Peace

Advent - Peace

Today is the second Sunday of Advent, the four-week period leading up to Christmas. It is a time of expectation.

Jesus is called the "Prince of Peace" yet, at the time of His birth, Israel was trapped under Roman oppression and the very same was true about Jesus' lifetime. But what we find about the peace Jesus brings is one that goes deeper than outward circumstances. This is the peace we discover through Advent and, as we'll see in a testimony from Ilja, continues to this very day.
